United Electric Controls (UE-Watertown, MA) Appoints Two New Vice Presidents

Watertown, Ma - July 2012 - United Electric Controls (UE-Watertown, MA) Appoints Two New Vice Presidents

In January, Ken Kirkwood was appointed Vice President of Sales. Ken joined UE in 1984 as a member of the inside sales group. Promoted to Regional Sales Manager, Ken later headed up UE's Marketing Department before becoming General Manager of UE's Applied Sensor Technologies division. Ken assumes responsibility for 14 regional sales managers in various locations worldwide with a sales network of more than 140 distributors.

Also in January, Wil Chin joined UE and was appointed Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Wil came to UE from ARC Advisory Group (ARC), a market research consulting firm located in Dedham, Massachusetts, USA. Wil provides extensive industrial automation and product knowledge gained from his 12 years at ARC. Prior to joining ARC, Wil was the VP of Sales at Krohne USA, Product Manager at Foxboro Company, and worked in various engineering roles at General Signal and Stone & Webster Engineering.

 Ken and Wil succeed Peter Godfrey, UE's former Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Mr. Godfrey retired from UE after nearly 50 years of service to the company.
